Netgear MR314 as wireless bridge

Hello,

Is a setup like this possible:

Apple Airport <--wireless--> MR314 <--wire--> PC

I think that would make the MR314 a bridge? If this is possible, how
do I need to configure the MR314?

You probably can't do that. Communication between access-points, whether
wired or wireless, is accomplished by something called the Distribution
System (DS) in 802.11. The DS is named but not specified in the standard.
Until 802.11F is passed the operation of the DS is left completely to the
equipment manufacturer, which means that every manufacturer does it
differently. So in order to accomplish things like roaming between
access-points or setting up wireless bridges, you'll have to buy all your
wireless routers and access-points from a single vendor until 802.11F
products appear on the shelves.

Not likely to work, but may get lucky if they are using the same chipset &
firmware.

They usually have to be the same or similar models of the sam emanufacturer.

I have looked into doing the same with Buffalo Air Station (one of the few
routers that supports WDS)

Also looked into Netgear wg602. Here is the response I got from their
