Ok, so I am certainly no idiot with networking, etc. But I feel like
one now, as I cannot get this netgear MR314 router to work as an
access point ONLY. I recently replaced the netgear with a sonicwall
SOHO3, which is handling the NAT, DHCP etc, WAN is connected to Cable
mode, LAN connected to Cisco 2912 XL EN switch. I have (as of right
now) the Netgear connected to the switch as well, LAN only. I can see
the AP with my wireless card, I've configured it every way till
tuesday, making sure DHCP was off, etc.. and I cannot get it to allow
my wireless clients access to the internet.

I can be more descript if needed, but I figured this might just not be
possible with this model, and seeing how newer AP's are cheap, I can
just pick one up if needed.

Thanks

Hi Rob

I take it that you can see the other comps on the network??

If so have a look at my other post... RE: Connecting two Wireless Routers -
Extend Network

I had the very same problem... see the network, but not the Internet from
the other AP.

There is a typo error.. 192.168.48 (should be 192.168.0.48).. but am sure
you would notice

Hope it helps

Regards
Alan
