Here is my setup, I am the admin for a K-12 school...

I have 8 ME102s through-out the school, all of which I named
differently (So I could identify them in the SNMP manager)
I have an integrated wireless NIC in my laptop, and 3 of the other
users I think have dlink 802.11b NICs.

the week I set them up the joint was rockin and rollin'. I could
almost go anywhere and have a signal. As the summer wore on, I stayed
in my office more and more, and everytime I would check the SNMP
manager, it seemd there would be one less access point listed... I
thought it was odd then I figured it would pop back on next time I was
in that area.
Well here it is a few months later and only 5 Access points show up in
the manager. And one of themisnt using my IP scheme anymore, (I use
typically 10.1.3.x, dhcp assigned) the IP address is now 192.168.0.5
and this address seems to swap itself with other access points listed
in the manager. Like tomarrow this address will be a different access
point and todays will go back to its original IP address.

I am using XP pro as are all the other PCs that are using the access
points. No offence to anyone here, but Netgears phone tech support
doesnt have very clear english accents and it is nearly impossible for
me to understand them.
So I came here, and help is appreciated.
thanks!

Maybe the kids hacked them?

Immpossible, this was happening way before the kids showed up.
I would really like some suggestions as to how to fix this, but if you
havent got any how about suggestions on what type of Accesspoints I
should get for my situation, I would need about 10 of them, prefer web
based interface. easy to install.

Sounds like something on your network is handing out private IP
addresses. What does the rest of your network look like?
With inexpensive APs like these, it may be necessary to visit each
one from time to time and physically reboot it. Upgrading the
firmware may help, too.
