Hi,

I have a Netgear FR114W (router) connected to my DSL connection downstairs,
upstairs I have the netgear ME102 (wireless access point) connected to the
netgear FS105 (switch), which has 2 PCs on it.
In the wireless router I have the netgear MA401 wireless PCMCIA card, which
gives it wireless capability. I would like to be able to connect the access
point upstairs to the router downstairs, but for some reason its not
working. I have set the SSID, and channel, and I know both are working, as I
can put the PCMCIA card in my laptop and it connects, and I can wire the
laptop to the router and get out onto the internet. However I can't seem to
get the access point and the router to see each other.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Cheers

Ben

P.S. Happy New Year

I do not believe that you can "bridge" between a netgear wireless router and
wireless AP. However, if you have 2 ME102s you can do exactly what you
want.
