Hi,
I've been experimenting with my Netgear ME102c. I would like to add
a bit of range to enable me to get a better signal in a room I'd like
to use for surfing.
I've tried configuring the DWL800+ so that it talks to the ME102c.
It does talk to it, everything works fine, my laptop switches
connections when I'm in the room with the DWL800+, it gets a valid
DHCP ID from the Netgear RP614. In short, everything looks fine,
EXCEPT that I can't get any network traffic through the DWL800+.
Pinging results in timeouts.
I've tried setting the DWL800+ to both static IP address, and
dynamic (DHCP), both with the same bad result. BTW, I set the DWL800+
to the same channel and ESSID as the ME102c.
BTW, I do use MAC filtering on the ME102c, but have included the MAC
of the DWL800+.
Has anyone made this work? Am I overlooking something simple?
Anything else I can try.
TIA
