Ok. Here's the hardware:

HP Pavilion ze5170
Netgear MA401 with firmware 1.03.06 (I think)
ME102 Access Point connect to a Netgear RP614

Latest software drivers for all

I've had this setup for almost a year and all was working well until last
week. I turned on my laptop and no network. So, I walked my comp to the
room where my ME102 Access Point is located and I still received no signal.
Ever since then, I have not been able to get a signal. I have uninstalled
the card and reinstalled it as well as ensuring that the Access Point is
setup correctly (no WEP). My router sees it just fine and assigns it an IP
address.

This is frustrating. I have yet to call Netgear customer support because
last time I called I had trouble understanding the Indian accents.

Any ideas? Need more information?

Thanks.

Larry

I had a problem with a ME102 recently, turned out to be that the power pack
on some
models was under spec'd. I bought a universal power supply and it worked
flawlessly.
I eventually managed to get a replacement from Netgear and they now supply a
much
better power pack.

Very poor throughput, high packet loss.

:-) Mine is just no throughput! Now that's high packet loss!
