NETGEAR MA111 ADAPTER

IS anyone else having probs with the wireless ma111 adapter or is it just
me ??i connected it to the netgear wireless adapter and half the time it
works and other times it disconnects. Some of time it will show low signal
and one sec later it wll say very good and then back to low. The adapter is
plugged into the cable and then cable into the usb port. What the hell is
going on ? PS Customer service for netgear is in india and it sucks. and
that is coming fom me , an indian)))

Have one on my mothers machine have not rebooted since I installed before
XMAS. Has been great with connectivity and distance.,

I am having problems with my MA111. I've tried it in three laptops.
One on 2000, and two on XP. All three have the same problem. It
works for a minute or so and then totally locks up. The configuration
utility. You can't even issue an "ipconfig" at the command prompt
without getting an error. Incidentally, I've tried both version 1.1
cd and 2.0.

I haven't seen any posts from Netgear on the USENET which makes me
think this is a known issue and maybe they are hiding out hoping it
will go away

No manufacturer answers Q's on Usenet, but Netgear doesn't even answer
emails sent to their support.
You and PO have learned the same lesson as me: never buy Netgear stuff
again.

One day Netgear may find it's their customers that have gone away...
