Netgear MA101 died suddenly

Has anyone else experienced a netgear MA101 wireless receiver abruptly
dying? I have owned and used the receiver without issue for about a
year. The other day it suddenly stopped working, and the
configuration utility in the toolbar is red. I've tried everything
from re-installing the drivers to trying the device on a different
computer, but the same thing happens.

Any ideas?

Have you tried ringing them?

Yes, I've actually had 2 of them die on me. First one died within a week
of purchase...Win XP was popping up USB device errors whenever I
plugged it in. The second one died a few months later...it just would not
connect to the wireless network. On top of that, I also had an FM-114P
die recently after only about 9 months. Pretty sad record for Netgear,
but on the positive side their tech support was easy to get a hold of and
it was a snap getting the bad parts replaced.
