Netgear FWG114P Wierd behavior

Hey I was just wondering if anyone has this router (Netgear FWG114P) ?
I'm getting some wierd behavior with it....

It was delivered with the 1.0 Release 15 firmware. The funny behavior
was that when I was downloading large files the cable modem connected
to the router would drop its link light to the cable service. I could
fix this by power cycling the cable modem. This was predictable as
clockwork and would be required once every 3 to 5 min.

Out of frustration, I plugged my old linksys router in and the cable
modem never once lost the link to the cable service (tested over 4
hours).

Any ideas?
