Hi

Wonder if someone can help me please. I've purchased a Netgear FVL328 DSL
router / firewall and a DM602 adsl modem. Our provider is Demon. Problem
I've got is that the FVL328 doesn't support PPPoA (arrrgh!). I can get the
DM602 to connect to Demon in router mode (i.e. it DOES support PPPoA).
However, in router mode I can't get the DM602 to talk to the FVL328. Does
anyone else have any similar experiences? Or should I just bite the bullet
and buy an all-in-one modem/router/firewall PPPoA solution?

Help greatly appreciated!

Brett

Netgears site does describe the 328 as a Cable/DSL router,
not Adsl ;-) However, assuming the DM602 has an ethernet
connexion to your lan, you should be able to plug it into
the WAN port on the 328.
You will also probably have to disable DHCP on the 328, let
it get an IP from the 602, as will your lan clients. You MAY
need a x-over cable to connect the 602 & 328 together.

P.
