My intention is to create a wired connection to my PC and a wireless link
for my laptop to access the internet. Both operating systems are XP Pro SP2.
My PC CPU is an Athlon XP1900 whilst my laptop is an "old" IBM T23 with a
PentiumIII mobile 1.3 processor. The wired connection between
PC/router/internet is OK but the laptop is causing probs! I have a strong
signal but I cannot access the WWW. WEP encryption will not function either!
Any help would be appreciated.
TIA
Les

I found that I had to go into my firewall program and allow all traffic
from the router addresses on each of my computers. For good measure I
started at x.x.x.1 and went up to x.x.x.32.
