LOL...... Sorry, but don't look at me. MSN Messanger is a sore point
here at the moment. Text works fine, but file transfer, voice or
video are a no go.
I'm pushing Netgear for an answer currently, and suggest you do the
same.

FECK!!! I use video and voice all the time, I'll have to try net
meeting!

I have a bigger problem if any1 could help me???
My Netgear DG834G (with latest firmware)has been good apart from the
odd isp disconnection but that only takes a few mins to correct.
Anyways, all laptop's work fine wirelessly but I've just received a D
Link DWL-G520+ for my pc upstairs and I cannot get it to work. I've
disabled wep, mac address filtering and the ssid is viewable but it
just wont connect. I've tried using the software dlink provide and
windows XP built in wireless configuration thing but no joy. Is there
a compatibility issue or do I need to configure the wireless
differently so they connect?
Ideas please

turned all encryption off, enabled sid view but only allowing certain MAC address's.
Is that secure enough?
How would ppl get past mac address filtering?
