The wireless indicator for the transmition of "RF" signals is the LED (like
a lolly pop) if that goes out...you guessed it...so does your WiFi..
Defo a fault of the unit..... send it back from where it came!!!
I have never had that happen to me...(yet) I must admit though, the unit
DOES get quite hot..
I like the security features of the DG and the ease of setting it up.. A
good working order DG824M in my opinion is a very good buy...
However, they have updated the unit to 54g..look out for that one if you
have the option to get your money back. As for a few quid more you get:
DG834G
