Netgear DG824M Access point settings

As I am having problems to stay connected with the base when I move my
laptop around in my flat, I would like to find a way of knowing if the
access point is set for maximum signal strength,

and also if it has any settings for "Interference Robustness".

I could not find those elements in the reference manual.
