Netgear DG814 + WG602 + ME101 is working but WG511 is not ?

I've have all the above and almost working but not quite:

Have been using the DG814 ADSL modem/router for a while now with no
problems - Windows ME PC plugged into it and also a PS2 for online gaming

Got a WG602 WAP and ME101 bridge last week to be able to get a wireless
connection for the PS2 - connected those up and it works fine with no change
to the standard configuration.

However I also got a WG511 wireless laptop card (Win 98 SE laptop) and
although it says it's connected, green lights etc., I can't get internet
access or data transfer on the laptop.

Have everything set generally standard i.e. DHCP enabled, WEP not set as yet
as I wanted to get things connected before applying the security.

Can't see anything wrong with laptop network settings and have latest
(official) firmware on all Netgear products.

Any ideas from anyone would be appreciated.
