Netgear DG814 Firmware

Will Netgear ever supply a 4.9 release or is the DG814 considered "dead"?

I see that the Dg814 has disappeared from www.netgear.co.uk, but 4.9rc1
has been available for sometime (from the Netgear France website).

Actually, 4.9 RC3 is available on the French Netgear site.
I been using this for months.

And very good it is as well!! I presume that "official" 4.9 will appear on
the netgear.com site before TOO long!

Does this make the interface language french when you upgrade to it though?
Still running 4.8 and will upgrade if its english.
