NETDIAG results

OK, I have run netdiag and the one problem I still have is that I do not
have the <03> MESSENGER running. Is this a problem? If so how can I get it
back. I have tried to remove and reinstall the MS Windows Client and the
FILE & PRINT SHARING a couple of times but this does not fix it. I was also
missing the WORKSTATION entry but that was fixed when I removed and
reinstalled the client/service. Is this required for proper operation of the
network? I am concerned as this is a SERVER and one of my two WINS server.

The Messenger Service transmits Alerter Service messages, messages
sent using the "net send" command and console messages. It uses NetBIOS.
If you need features, you can start it up

from the command line:
net start messenger

from services applet:
right click on the "Messenger" in the name column and select "start"
in propertities select "automatic" as "startup type"

It may be useful for some situations, but it is not necessary.
