Hello,

When trying to run netdiag on a Win 2003 server, I get an error pop-up that
the procedure entry point for
DnsIsAdapterDomainNameRegsitrationEnabled cannot be found in DNSAPI.DLL.
Any clues as to the cause of this?

Thanks!

Sounds like an older version of netdiag. Which version of Netdiag do you
have? DNSAPI.dll version is 5.2.3790 0 and NetDiag.exe should be the same.

Which SP is installed on the server? Were the support tools installed after
the latest SP was installed on the server? If you updated the server with
SP1 or SP2 but installed the Windows Support tools from the original cdrom
that is not SP1 or SP2 integrated, then you have an older version and would
need to update it.

If you need, here is the latest Windows 2003 SP1 Support Tools install file:

Ace,

Brilliant, that was the problem: old version of the support tools running
under SP2. Many thanks!
