Hey,

I was wondering if the process NETDDE is running when I
press CTRL, ALT, DEL, and I haven't started this process,
could it mean that someone has hacked into my system. From
what I could find, NETDDE is used to initiate
communication and file sharing among computer on a
network. If this was not the result of someone hacking
into my system, what would start this program?

Thanks for your responses.

Do you have an actual network in place? Are you using any type of file or
printer sharing on any PC?

Hey Richard,

Thanks for replying to my post. I used to have a network
in place with printer sharing, but it has been
disconnected for quite some time now. I also know that
this service/program was never running before yesterday. I
usually check CTRL, ALT, DEL every day to see what is
loading and yesterday was the first time I have ever seen
it.
