Can someone suggest a netcat for win2k? I can
use it for testing my linux server.

google is your friend.

do a search for 'win32 netcat' if you don't want to install cygin just
for one utility

I'd be surprised if the cygwin package didn't include it (cygwin.com).

Yes, I did several searches, and found several things -- none
from places I know and trust. I found one written in C and
virus free (did I ask?). The C code was not offered so I
could take a quick look for problems.
