netbt 4319

A duplicate name has been detected on the TCP network. The IP address
of
the machine that sent the message is in the data. Use nbtstat -n in a
command window to see which name is in the Conflict state.

For more information, see Help and Support Center at
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

Haveing a on going problem with this error of which i can not figure
out.
The server is running win 2003 server, plugged into a active domain
w2k. No wins on the system. At one point there was but when I got the
error it was recommended to remove WINS so i did and the error still
persists. 2 network cards in the system running different IP's. the
problem started on 3/15/05 for no reason. Both network cards has been
in the machine then and working fine but one day it started with this
error. I have tried a nbstat -n with the results being UNIQUE and no
problems that i can see. I have searched the system to find any
machine that may be named the same with no luck there either.
Any help would be appricated. If anyone knows of any monitoring
software that could help monitor because the error seems to happon
only for a second and then it is gone till it happons again. It could
happon once in a day or several times in one day.

I believe that the recommendation is cleaning the WINS database instead of deleting it. also disable WINS settings on one of two NICs. this page may help,
