NetBEUI hangs!

Hello:

I have two computers running Win98SE connected with a crossover cable via
AOPEN Gigabit network cards. Both of the computers only have the NetBEUI
protocol bound to these network cards.

The problem is that when I try to copy large files, the copying starts and
then hangs for about 30 seconds and then starts again.

I've tried disabling NAV and ZA...makes no difference.

Does anyone have any ideas?
