On my Win98 desktop computer, I host some shared files on
a small business, peer to peer, TCP/IP LAN. I reboot my
workstation on at least a daily basis. Before I reboot, I
run Net Watcher to insure that no files are opened by
peers on the network.
This morning when I opened Net Watcher in the user view I
could see that a couple of peer computers had connected to
my shared directory. One peer user was shown as having an
open file. However, Net Watcher did not display the name
of the open file. To see what file was opened, I clicked
on the shared files view. Instead of displaying the files,
I received the error "Net Watcher reports network error
11826."
I have been unable to locate any information on this error
in the microsoft knowledgebase, technet, or google.
Does anyone have any suggestions on where I can find
information on this error or what may have caused it?
Thanks in advance.
Bob
