Michael,
I ran Browcon and all the results are:-
Attempting to find the PDC/Domain Master Browser for domain: CLA_LON
PDC/Domain Master Browser: \\FSMO01-LON
The PDC identified in the 'Network Profile' appears to be the same as the
Domain Master Browser currently found on the network
There are currently 1 subnet Master Browsers on the network for the
specified domain
There are currently 9 subnet Backup Master Browsers on the network for the
specified domain
Processing local_subnet...
Attempting to find local subnet Master Browser...
Master Browser: \\FSMO01-LON
Backup Master Browsers:
\\EX01-LON
\\FSMO01-LON
\\ACC01-LON
Note: if these systems are not on the local subnet, then no Backup Master
Browsers exist on the logical local subnet. i.e. no systems answered a
broadcasted 'get backup list request.' In this case, Backup Master Browsers
are retrieved from the Domain Master Browser's current list.
Checking the local subnet master browser...
Checking browse list on \\FSMO01-LON for the missing system called DC01-YORK
DC01-YORK was NOT found in the browse list
The subnet master browser on the client's subnet does not have the missing
system in its browse list. i.e. the client that can't see the missing
system in its browse list - that client's master browser does not have the
missing system in its browse list.
See the HTML report for troubleshooting steps.
Processing remote subnet called york...
Successfully connected to agent on TCP port 49911
Querying agent...
Subnet master browser on agent's subnet: \\DC01-YORK
Backup Master Browsers on agent's subnet:
\\DC01-YORK
Checking browse list on \\DC01-YORK for the missing system called DC01-YORK
DC01-YORK was found in the browse list
Checking domain master browser's list...
Checking browse list on \\FSMO01-LON for the missing system called DC01-YORK
DC01-YORK was NOT found in the browse list
Non of the possible causes that it suggests are correct.
Any other Ideas
Regards
Sean
