I'm trying to connect to a computer share that needs a
username and password. Under NT/2000/XP you can use

net use \\mycompture\share password /user:username

but under Windows ME it doesn't allow the /user:username.
Any ideas how to work around this problem?

There is no workaround. Windows 98 does not support passing a username when
connecting to a share.
