Net use probleme Again & again

Have a HP6P printer plug in the server on LPT1.The
workstation who needs to printe DOS job are using Net use
(net use \\server\hp6p). The problem is that the
workstations that works with Win98 are OK with Net use but
workstations with WinXP pro and Win2k pro are not able to
use this function. Before I change for Windows 2003 server
I was using Win2k pro on my server and everything was OK.
But i think the main problem is message i have when i do
this function --->

System error 1202 has occurred
The local device name has a remembered connection to
another network resource.

I did try to type "net use" only, ....All I can see my
other drive that is map but for the LPT1 it says
Unavailable....I have no idea how to solve the probleme.

What is the meaning of this message and how can I fix
it....

Try deleting the current mapping

"net use * /d"

The check net use again to see if the unavailable mapping is gone.
