net use printer redirection access denied

hi,

I am facing a somewhat strange problem when trying to do a
print redirection using the

net use lptX: \\server\printerShare

command.
Printing via point and print works without problems.
All users are domain users and should have enough rights.
Even with sambas smbclient I can connect to the printer
share and write files to the queue.

The problem is as follows:
I get prompted for a username and password. Even if I enter
Administrator, I get status 5, which means access denied.
