net use command with Vista

I am trying to connect to a 2003 server and I can not. I have used net use
for years and I can not get it to work from a console on vista biz or
ultimate to a server or any PC for that matter. I get
System error 52 has occurred.

The network path was not found.

net use * \\computername\share password /user:administrator
net use * \\computername\share password /user:computername\administrator

I can ping by name
I turned on RPC in services

Is it possible you have duplicate hostnames? This search result may help,

No. I am testing in Lab and have (2) 2003 Servers (2) 2000 Servers (2) XP.
All the comptuers can net use to each other its the Vista Machine that wont
comply.

I am assuming that you can "net view" the share you are trying to access,
right?
