NET TIME problem

Hi,
I want to synchronize a workgroup station with another workgroup/
domain machine but no matter what I'm trying I get "could not locate
a time server NET HELPMSG 3912".
There is no problem in synchronizing 2 domain machines but all my
attempts in synchronizing the workgroup station falis.

any idea?

You may want to use net time /querysntp to check the sntp server. Or this
troubleshooting may help.

Sorry but at this point I'm already after all the basic setting
(querysntp, setsntp, etc)
I think that the problem is related to the fact that the station is
out of the domain because all other domain clients are able to
synchronize with mu time-server.

Hi,

Have you tried running

w32tm /config /manualpeerlist:<IP> /syncfromflags:MANUAL

on one of the client machines (replacing <IP> with the IP address or
hostname of your time server)?

That might do the trick.
