Windows 2003 R2 Standard DC Server SP2
Windows XP Pro SP3 workstations

trying to send a message to all computers in the domain

net send /domain:test welcome to the domain

I have 2 DC servers
I have 3 Windows XP Pro workstations

From DC1 I issue the net send /domain:test welcome to the domain

Only one workstation gets the message the other DC and other workstations do
not get the message.

No firewall on the DC servers but I have a firewall on the workstations and
they are set up the same.

Any ideas or thoughts?

thanks

Tom

Hello Thomas,

Is the "Messenger" service started on all machines?

Best regards
