Net Send between XP Pro SP3 and Server 2003 R2

I am trying to use net send between a Domain Controller (Server 2003 R2 SP2)
and XP Pro SP3. I am able to net send to the server from my workstation, but
not able to net send from the server to the workstation.

From the server to the workstation I get "The alias could not be found on
the network" (after a long delay). I have tried the XP machine name,
username, and IP to my workstation, but either get this message or net send
hangs.

The Messenger service is started on both computers.

What am I missing?

OK, if I enable File and Printer Sharing in XP firewall, it works fine. What
would the port #(s) be for the Messenger service be. Could I not open up
those port numbers instead of enabling File and Printer Sharing?
