Negear WGR614 in UK is ONLY version 1 - ahhh

Just got my Netgear WGR614 wireless router in the UK - rang tech support and
they confirmed its only version1.

Sodding hell - I want version 2 as its got a better chip etc.

Anyone got a version2 in the UK - and where did they get it.

After struggling with Netgear support helpline (in India !) I still couldn't
get an ethernet connection and the USB software wouldn't even load ! I
returned it.
Following many recommendations here and various web guides I bought Draytek
Vigor 2600We. Not cheap but
installed in 10 mins, haven't missed a beat since late May.
And as I write this I am receiving the signal 70m from the Vigor in another
building and at very sharp angle through two sets of doubleglazed windows,
one genuine leaded one. Still get 30-42% signal strength and up 98% signal
quality, but I had to position the laptop in direct line of sight of the
Vigor.
Moving it just an inch in any direction can reduce the signal significantly.
