I have a linksys cable modem a linksys access point (wap11) and a linksys
router. Right now I am using the equipment so that I can access the network
from any location where I need too. But now I have a problem. I have to
move the cable modem to a spot very far away from rest of the hardwired lan.
What I plan to do is hook the modem to a linksys wap11 and have the another
wap11 on the router to conect the router to the cable modem. Does anyone
have a better suggestion. or even knows if this will work or not.

you could use WET11's to do what you want. I actually use a WAP11 and
than connect the rest of the network using the WET11 work well
