Usenet Gurus,

I work for a relatively small company and we're currently using LVS
for load balancing. It's a bit messy and I'd like to purchase an
appliance to do the job and make things a bit easier for us. I've
considered purchasing some old F5 equipment off eBay. It's a decent
option but I'm a little leery of going this route because I could run
into issues down the road of licenses keys expiring or the hardware
failing and not having any support options.

So far the best thing I've come across is this recently released load
balancer:

http://www.kemptechnologies.com/load...cer-1500.shtml

If anyone has any comments on the Kemp product or suggestions for
other reasonably priced hardware that would do the job I'd greatly
appreciate it. The only feature I absolutely need is a hot standby for
rapid failover.
