Need quick setup help - virtual domains please!

I run a redhat 9 server on my DSL connection with fQDN for sendmail,
apache for web, and vsftpd services. For the past couple of years, I have
hosted a family website with a password protected directory for my family. I
have a nice phone book, phpbb2 message forum, and online photo album there
for my family. I want to ditch dirwrap_photo for the photo album and switch
to Coppermine because it is much nicer, supports batch uploads, and
integrates well with phpbb2.

My family logs into the website by going to my domain/~myusername/family/. (I
don't much use the domain that I have other than to access this server
quickly and easily.) This is cumbersome for them to remember so I purchased a
family domain name. This should be very easy for my family now to remember
and to go to because they can put our family name in for the URL and go
right to the site. Since I already have a FQDN for my server and I want to
add the second domain name for my family, I have to setup a virtual domain on
the apache server for it and point the DNS to this virtual domain. I would
also like to give them email accounts if possible.

This is very new to me and I have no idea of how to go about doing this.
Since the server is already up and running, how hard would it be for me to
add another domain to this server and get it up and running for my family?

Please send tips, advice, how-to's, and anything else you can to show me the
way to get this project underway quickly.. Thank you all for helping.

Just read the documentation about VHosts, if you didn't touched, the
'default' configuration file already contains some examples.
