1.Share the printer from the XP machine.
Go Start--Settings--Printers and Faxes
Right click the printer and select Sharing
Click the button to share it, accept the default sharename or change it to
something you like
2. Add the printer on the 98 machine.
Open Control Panel--Printers
Click Add Printer
Select Network Printer
For Network path or quename either browse for the printer or use
\\computername\sharename
Then select the driver, you need to either have this on the CD that came
with printer or download it from HP.
I am sure win98 doesn't have a driver for it.
A couple more ok's and it is done
By the way, it has nothing to do with the router.
