No numbers, no clues.
How fast are you going right now?
How fast do you want/need to go? Why?
What manner of hardware do you have? Latest firmware?
What connection speed do your two clients report?
Measure the thruput in BOTH directions with Iperf:
http://www.noc.ucf.edu/Tools/Iperf/default.htm
802.11g running at 54Mbits/sec connection speed should give a thruput
of about 25Mbits/sec.
