need help upgrading to Web 2.0

when talkjng about my computer the other day, my friend told me i'm
still running an outdated version of the internet, version 1.3 or
something like that. he says i need to upgrade to Web 2.0 to be able
to access all sorts of new stuff. where can i go to get the latest
version? i havent received an AOL disk in the mail recently and cant
seem to find nothing on the Web 1.3. im just sick of websites like
the MySpace, YouTube and LimeWires running really slow. thanks

Are you sure you are taking about a Microsoft product? Microsoft
Intenret Explorer is now at version 7.

The only "browser" that seems to contain any referrence to 2.0 is
FireFox.

I didnt think Apple IPODS used Microsoft?
