What do you mean by "do a tv to other tv"?

I have no idea if or how well it works, but you might find
<http://www.grandtec.com/avw.htm> to be worth a look. Also check the
Linksys, SMC, and Sony sites--they have some stuff
connecting via wireless LAN, that might be of interest. If you're in
the US, going down to CompUSA and browsing might also be
helpful.

There is no good way around this. I've seen a few wireless
transmitters, but most of them aren't much better than a baby monitor
(you know the black and white 3 inch screens and camera).

And to that extent, they're RF based.

Currently consumer wireless like WiFI and 802.11g don't have enough
bandwidth to transmit a full VGA signal with accurate timing. You need
to compress it. That puts out gaming.

If you want to just transmit like videos and such, you could setup a
small HTPC or some old rig with a wireless card and transmit it using
VideoLAN (VLS and VLC), but that's going to be difficult to setup.

If you absolutely can't run wires, a HTPC (home theater small form
factor pc like MiniATX or the Shuttle boards) with a Wifi card should do.

Just make sure you get something with superb TV-out. S3 and Matrox have
always had good TV-encoder chipsets. I think Shuttle's got a good one
too. ATI is ok, but you'll take your chances dependent on the
manufacturer with varying NVidia cards.
