Need help with setup of D-Link AP's in remote building

I am trying to extend our Guest WLAN to another building. I'm using D-Link
DWL-2200 AP's in AP mode, running WPA2 personal encryption. I have a "main"
ap wired to the wireless router. This AP is tied to an omni-directional
outdoor antenna. In the remote building, I've got a directional antenna
tied to an AP in the attic. A CAT5 cable then runs from it to a small
5-port hub and then to another AP with a ceiling antenna.

User's in the building report they can't get a connection. (My laptop is
being used by a staff member on a trip so didn't get a chance to test this.)

My guess is I should have used a bridge to get the signal off the antenna,
then run both AP's off the hub.

I would appreciate any comments and advice from the readers of this NG.

The AP in the remote building has to be configured as a Client.
Wireless Modes - http://www.ezlan.net/Wireless_Modes.html
Wireless Bridging - http://www.ezlan.net/bridging.html
In addition I do not thing that your hardware in this arrangement supports
WPA2.

Interesting. Thanks for the info; didn't know that. Looks like I need more
hardware.

One follow-up ... Would the following be a way to make the above work?

Wireless Router > Wireless Bridge (connected by CAT5 to router) > omni-dir
antenna >> directional antenna > Wireless Bridge (connected to dir ant by
CAT5) > 5-port hub > multiple AP's (connected to hub by CAT5).

One other idea .... the DWL-2200AP's can be set to WDS mode or WDS with AP
mode. This would let them operate as a bridge. Any suggestions on what
mode to use in each building to extend the WLAN?

I found the problem - I need to put all AP's in WDS in AP mode. They can
then act as a bridge AND an AP. D-Link assures me this will work.

I'll give it a try.
