i have a wireless router made by blitzz, a company apparently out of
business now.

i recently made a change to the password to access the control panel,
and cannot get access to it anymore. i do not have the manual for the
router, and have never had to do a password reset on it.

i cannot find the manual anywhere online.

it is model BWA711, made by blitzz... if anyone can help me, i would
breathe a sigh of relief.

thanks very much.

The default username/password is admin/admin. See if there's a "reset"
button somewhere on the device to restore the factory defaults.

yes, i know the default password, and what i entered is not working,
meaning that i must have made a typo when i entered it.

there is a button on the back, but i dont want to press it and then
have a problem on my hands if it does something unexpected... linksys
this is not, it is a cheap router, good enough for my mac and not much
else.

If you'd examine the "Management" row of the "Major Functions" block at
http://www.blitzztech.com/Product/sp...A711&spec=open you'll find
that following the steps I've suggested will solve the problem you _already_
have on your hands.
