The laptop and the desktop are connected with a router: the desktop
wired and the laptop wireless.
We have a few olders in the desktop, including the printers, set to
sharable.
We had maping in the laptop to let us transfer files between the
computer and let the laptop uses the printers hooked up to the
desktop.
Yesterday, we had a cablev modem problem and we did a lot of resetting
in the modem and router trying to get it up. It turned out to be an
area wide cable problem. This morning the modem is working.
But we lost our mapping. We cannot access the folders including the
printer. We double checked the folders are still set sharable. We
reset the modem/router. We reboot the machines. But when I tried
mapping the folder it said
The network path \\hpdesktop\My Documents cannot be found.
Can someone kindly help?
