| Hi,
| I have a home network with shared WAN IP address.
| I'm trying to use Net Meeting. Help!
| I asked about this a while ago and someone told me to use DMZ. The router
| setup warned me that all my ports would be opened if I did that, so I called
| Linksys, and they advised me to use "port triggering" instead. They had me
| open up a few ports, namely 522, 389, 1503, 1720, 1731, 1024-65535.
| I still have only one WAN IP address for all the computers on my network.
| I'm not sure how I can host a meeting. I tried to host a meeting with one
| of the workstations, and join it with another, using the WAN IP address
| shown in the router setup. AFter a few minutes of trying, it said "the
| person you are trying to call is not able to host a Net Meeting."
| Is there any way to host a Net Meeting when I only have one WAN IP?
| (forget the example of one workstation going to another on the same LAN, I
| was just trying that as a test. I want other people to be able to join a
| Net Meeting that I host.)
| thanks
Port forward the TCP ports 1503 and 1720 ~ 1731 to the IP address of the Netmeeting host.
