Need help with Mellanox HCA on CentOS5.4

We have a Mellanox ConnectX MT26418 cards installed in a CentOS 5.4
system. I've installed all CentOS's OpenFabric and InfiniBand packages
but the card doesn't seem to be recognized. Do I need to install the OFED
software from the Open Fabrics sites or are the packages in CentOS 5.4
sufficient? If so what do I need to do to configure them?
