dear all
i create a user in my laptop running xp.
then i want to map network drive in my domain, i enter username of
domain in map network drive in explorer
the problem is my computer cannot find the share resource,
as i know my computer has IP from my server with DHCP method
i can "ping" the server.
what's wrong with my configuration ??

can you net view \\serverip? if not, what's the error?

this may help,

use net view to troubleshoot errors
Using Net View to troubleshoot Errors ... When using net view \\hostname, you
get system error 52 - a duplicate name exists on the network. ...

dear robert
thank for your advice,
now i can connect to my network share,
actually, my user's laptop does not join to my doimai,
so he could not get network resource.
Now everything is ok..
Thank you very much.
