Ive been beating my head against the wall for awhile on this one. Basically Im trying to authenticate apache users with mod_auth_pam and pointing pam at ldap (Ive tried kerberos also).
Ive got a vmware setup at the moment for a testbed, with fedora 4 and windows 2003. I can get a kerberos ticket. I cannot get ldapsearch to do anything however. Ive tried the suggestions
of numerous writeups on the subject with no luck. I have no access to the widows servers here, so I cannot install ad4unix or any schema changes. I simply want to authenticate
users with ldap, so no password changing required.
if anyone has got a simple setup like this to work Id very much like to see the config files you ended up with.
