Random failures are often near impossible to troubleshoot since apparent
random occurrences may have to happen in just the right sequence to
cause the problem. I would take a look at the possibility that some
program(s) running in the background is responsible. I can tell you
right now that if you have a fair amount of programs running, it may not
be an easy task:
