I need help cinder block walls with maximum range

hello guys,
I have been researching this for a while and did not know where to
turn, so basically I came here. Basically, I am currently in a building
with cinder walls. I want to setup a wireless router in my room that
will spread the signal through the wall as far as possible. Any
recommendations? I know I will need to buy a router and mod with with
antennas but I need to know if you guys think its possible. The
farther and more powerful range the better. Also the router should have
good protections so i can keep it in hidden mode. The equipment needs
to be contained within one room if possible.
