Hello ppl!!!
I'm a 1st yr engineering student.My project for this summer is to
setup a network using linux.I pretty new to linux and to networking.
Can anybody please help me set it up step by step?

Sure:

1) get a router
2) install Linux on computer #1
3) install Linux on computer #2
4) done

Probably want to add some cables to this mix.

ditch the router, and make your oun with linux
