Need to extend my network to another building

I got the Linksys network extender,WRE54G, Did'nt do it..Replaced my
WRT54G with a WRT54GX4,, still wont get there..Only about 150'..Is the
WAP54G a better way to go. One hardwired to my router,, the other set
up as a repeater ?

It will work if you can do it trough windows, e.g. place router on window
sill and USB adapter (can be on the end of up to 5m of cable) on window sill
of the other building. If that's not possible, you need to look at outdoor
antennas.
